FEL enters into a Technical Alliance with Motec Canada

}  April 01, 2021

FEL is excited to announce a technical alliance agreement with Motec Canada.

This alliance will allow teams to run the data systems their cars were delivered with or any other system they may have installed. Motec Canada will supply series data loggers complete with harnesses, which will be randomly installed in series cars throughout the season. Details will be clearly called out in the series of technical regulations.

“Upon canvassing the series teams, it quickly became obvious that Sasha Anis and his team at Motec were the right people for the job. Sasha’s reputation is second to none in the motorsport data world and we are super excited to have him and Motec Canada onboard to ensure firm but fair series tech,” said FEL President, Chris Bye.

“Motec Canada is pleased to be a technical partner in the 2021 Sports Car Championship that FEL is organizing. We will help to ensure fair competition with innovative and efficient methods to monitor competitor performance without excessive costs to the entrants. We are looking forward to seeing Canadians stay north of the border for competitive racing in Canada and are honoured to be part of this exciting moment in Canadian racing history,” said MoTeC Canada Director Sasha Anis.
